MANGALURU: Sullia MLA S Angara was rushed to a private hospital in Mangaluru after his blood pressure was reportedly low.
Dr Padmanabh Kamath, HOD, Cardiology and professor, KMC, Mangaluru, told TOI that MLA Angara came with low blood pressure. He was attending a meeting at Kadaba on Friday, where he suffered from giddiness and pain in the abdomen.
ECG was immediately taken, and he was rushed to a hospital in Puttur for further treatment. After providing him with the necessary first aid, he was brought to Mangaluru. Cardiac checkup was done and he seems to be normal. But since he vomited thrice on the way, an ulcer is suspected. An endoscopy has been planned, he said.
The MLA is being treated at the ICU.
